Santa Pola concludes the EUROPAN 18 round tables with a technical session on the Varadero-Cantera area
On Friday, February 27, the final round table of the Europan 18 process took place at the Santa Pola Yacht Club, focused on the Varadero-Cantera area.
Following the previous sessions, Friday's meeting had an academic, professional, and technical approach, with the participation of architects, urban planners, and specialists in architecture, landscape, and planning.
The session featured the presence of the competition's winning team, authors of the Water's Journey project, and allowed for an analysis of the proposal in terms of its relationship with the physical environment, its alignment with sectoral policies (water, coastline, and natural surroundings), its territorial and urban coherence, and its technical and management feasibility.
The strategy based on reduce, reuse, and recycle was also discussed, focusing on resource optimization and sustainable solutions for the regeneration of the area.
The exhibition remains open until April 12 at the Templete in Plaza de La Glorieta, and participation can be done in person or through https://santapola.es/procesos/europan18-area-varadero-cantera/
The future is chosen together.
